Ed Hermes is president of Osborn School District's governing board, father to two Osborn students, Penélope and Valentina, community leader, and attorney. Ed is running for re-election to the Osborn school board to continue the work of improving our public schools. Since being elected in 2020, he has worked to increase teacher and staff pay, expand preschool programs, enhance dual-language education, make our schools safe, and has strengthened ties between our public schools and our communities.

Ed has had a long tenure of public service, starting when Gov. Janet Napolitano appointed him to serve on the Arizona Board of Regents. Thereafter, Ed worked as a high school civics and government teacher on the Navajo Nation before attending law school at the ASU Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law. Ed is a partner at the law firm of Snell & Wilmer LLP in Phoenix, Arizona.
